The good news is they've forgiven some of the time and we've already made some of it up....so....
Just wait until winter....

Bill Reh said the magic words this morning....chance of flash flooding, isolated tornadoes, and tropical storm winds.

Definitely no school Thursday... especially after Durham messed up last time.

Green Hope already moved their JV football game from Thursday to Wednesday....no reason given but I'm sure this is it.

Yes, but how many people complained that Wake closed "for no reason" before they saw the picture of the bus full of kids stuck in water?

I did and I don't take it back. Flash flooding or tornadoes can happen any day around here.

Except they closed because they had schools that were inaccessible do to downed trees. We have a County schools system, your little section of paradise might be OK but it is a big County and other parts might not be.

I would never want to be on the board, talk about a no win situation. Between bad weather closings and reassignments people are always going complain.

Did they? I didn't hear about any schools in Wake being inaccessible. And yes I understand how county schools work.
