Everyone talks about Durham as a foodie town - and it is - but the real truth is that Cary and Morrisville are hotspots for great ethnic food.
Correct. I quietly laugh when people say it's nothing but chain restaurants. I want just enough people to know to keep them all busy, but let the masses stand in line at Poole's Diner in Raleigh, or Dames (coming to Cary, BTW) or Mateo in Durham, while I have a unique and stellar meal right at home.

It's a long thread, probably already been mentioned, but I also enjoy Golden Pig in Cary for good Korean.

Chatham Square has more unique ethnic restaurants per density than just about anywhere in the area, I think.....

Try the hot pot at Super 9 Pho in Raleigh.
I've been to Kababish twice - really enjoyed it both times. Kudos to them for clearly marking vegan entrees (and other dietary needs) on their menu. I need to go back soon!
