Are they putting in a call center here? Looking for people with lots of customer service experience sounds like a call center to me. A call center job employed by Fidelity is probably better in the long run (chance for advancement) than a call center run by a third party group.

There are a good number of people in call centers here now with Fidelity. They're pretty much all in the groups that administer retirement plans for other companies. The groups they're adding in this expansion are on the retail side. Like you set your own 401k up. It does seem a good number are going to be answering phones. But being on the phones there is a good place to get promoted once you can get through the initial grind.

It's not really call center but account reps and the supporting ecosystem

Fidelity I think wants more market share in the retail investor explosion it's not really about 401ka
