Necas almost brought the house down in the dying seconds of regulation. Andersen with some big stops in the 3rd and in OT, Las Vegas made them work for this one.
Necas came close to a "Goal of the Year" moment.
I know Vegas is a good team, but didn't enjoy the Canes giving up a two goal lead.
Still.... 2 points.
I was surprised how many Vegas fans were in the building.
Won in Ottawa in front of no fans on Thursday in a shootout, the first shootout of the season. Nino tied the game late.
NJ tonight and SJ tomorrow.
And, Necas did another double pirouette move and almost a highlight goal. Freddy was just amazing, and kept the Canes in the game.
We have Raanta in net tonight, so I hope he is 100%, good to go.
