Drury, Poturalski, Leivo, and CJ Smith were returned to Chicago where they can continue playing. I'm 99.99% certain we will see Drury again -- if not this season, then next season. And that makes me wonder how Suzuki is recovering from his injury. To get ice time here, he'll have to at least match Jarvis and Drury.

February will be NHL hockey to make up for postponements. Not going to Bejing.
It is time to just take Hockey to the Summer Games. Let the guys who want to go be in Paris, July 26--August 11, 2024.

Problem would be getting an ice sheet of the correct size with adequate cooling in summer. All the likely venues are allocated to other sports already.

But, where there's a will, there's a way.
The competition for hosting Olympic games might be inclusive of a hockey venue.
Of course, Olympic hosts are scheduled out to 2032, so accelerated planning would be great.
Los Angeles in 2028 surely has availability of hockey venues.
No clue on Paris in 2024 other than Grenoble which is a bit remote from Paris.

If the Carolina Hurricanes (and other southern teams) can keep ice to NHL standards during warm months, it shouldn't be a problem for the Olympics.
And how about some winter baseball in the Olympics to switch off with summer ice hockey?
