Well clearly I was using the literal interpretation. I actually started an Ark at 8am the day before and put my dog and my neighbors dog on it to get off to a proper start.

You probably assume too much.

Well I always assume people are responsible pet owners, but never mind I guess.

Had you on ignore, took you off for the one time you had something constructive to say on steaks. Back to ignore so I don’t have to be inundated with your self-serving egocentric opinionated BS.

My dog is 4 months old. We’re waiting to neuter him until his growth plates fuse and he’s fully developed...like a responsible pet owner.

I take it STL means you're from St. Louis? Average annual rainfall here is ~ 47". We would get ~ 36" in central IL Difference is here is seems to come all at once! And the soils here have virtually no water holding capacity so runoff is terrible.

Was today downright crazy or is it just me? Trying to make sure this was an exception vs something that might happen 4-5 times a year. I’m in SE Apex btw.
I was out for a bike ride (Sunday, right?) during all this. stayed off the roads, got wet AF, but was actually one of the better, more fun rides I've had in a while. The clouds cleared around 4:30, to allow us to sit outside at Bond Brothers and dry out while rehydrating.

Great day, it was!
