A realtor I am working with down there just sent me updated listings and the new one is on KellyRidge in the Abbington Sub-Division - there are a handful of homes up for sale on that block - any reason??

Apex? Not really. Cary for sure. Apex is probably more expensive than Holly Springs or Fuquay, but not more expensive than most of the area. Abbington is a stones throw away from the neighborhood I live in now. Construction originally started in 1997 I believe, I didn't live in Apex then but I think I read that somewhere. They are still building homes there now but are in the "final phase" as the lingo goes. Most of the homes there are in the $300,000 range, with maybe a few of the smaller ones in the high $200,000. Its right off of Kelly Road, which I'm very familiar with because I drive on it pretty much every day.
Just bumping this up because I have the same question...
Anyone who lives in Abbington/Apex on this forum? There are a lot of houses on Kellyridge (6 I think) and in the Abbington neighborhood in general (15 I think). I am considering the neighorhood, but I wanted to make sure there isn't something that I'm not aware of going on in the area. Is it just coincidence and bad luck for the sellers that there are so many right now or is there more to the number of houses for sale?
I just found the street on Google Earth. I think the reason for the amount of homes for sale there is because it's a fairly long street, the longest by far in the Abbington development. I'm sure you'd find many homes for sale in Apex on Kellywest drive in Dogwood ridge, and White Dogwood road in Haddon Hall.
