i've had so much drama w/ this condo and it's finally going on the market tomorrow if all goes well w/ the staging and pictures. there will be an open house on sat/sunday. am i being way too ambitious to hope i will get some offers to look at on monday/tuesday?

it's in a hot area in california, very low inventory. we're asking mid 500's which is a tad on the higher side. another unit sold in our complex for $525 but ours is nicer and has a larger outdoor area.

fingers crossed, it's our first time selling property and absolutely nerve wracking!

I should think the Realtor who helped you price and prepare the home has or can tell you when to expect an offer.

I don't think you're being too ambitious at all. While you may not get an offer on Monday or Tuesday, I wouldn't be surprised if you got multiple offers within the week. If you get good feedback from the open house on the weekend, if your agent is competent, they should be able to tell you when to expect an offer. I was in a similar situation last year. The market in my area is hot, with low inventory, and I listed my condo higher than any unit in the building sold before, but my unit was newly renovated and had a great view. I got 2 offers at full asking price within a week after my first open house. I wouldn't worry about it too much, you sound like you're in a good position.

I wouldn't be surprised if you got offers before the weekend. Suing the HOA when you are trying to sell might create problem, it better be worth it.
