Anyone have a good tartar sauce recipe that doesnt involve relish or pickles I cant stand them, but all tartar sauces seem to have them.

¼ cup mayo
½ tablespoon chopped fresh dill
2 teapsoons of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of white pepper
5 drops of worchestier

Mix well and put plastic wrap right on top of the
sause so no air get to it and put it in the fridge
for an hour before use.

You might want to try using Cilantro if you don't like
the taste of dill

Also play around with the mixtures for your taste but this
should be a great start to get you on your way

I revived this thread because I'd also like a tartar sauce recipe, but one that does have relish.
Also, has anyone ever tasted a cinnamon-like flavor in one? There is a local seafood restaurant we visit.
They make their own tartar sauce, and I swear I taste a cinnamony flavor. It's delicious.
Of course, they won't share their recipe. I've tried to duplicate it, but I can't get it quite right.

But what do you call that? It isn't tartar sauce.

How about that pink sauce you get with sushi? I don't know what it is, but most grocery stores sell it.

I make a sauce for fish that is mayonnaise lemon juice and tarragon. We like it on any kind of fish. Sometimes, I add a pinch of Old Bay.
