I just made this for the first time tonight. It will NOT be the last. It was outstandingly good and ridiculously easy.

It was crazy good. Like SERIOUSLY good. I used more mushrooms than it called for (two 10-oz. packages), by the way.

it has crossed my mind to attempt to use boursin in a sauce, but i have yet to try it. i don't need to be coming up with more ways to eat cheese and pasta.

i am betting that boursin sauce would be a great hollandaise-type sauce to serve atop grilled portobello mushrooms, or grilled asparagus.

I don't need more ways either... but... oh. my. goodness. This was heavenly.

Atop portobellos mushrooms or asparagus, hm? Yes, please!

Some spinach would be good with that too....

I'm going to try this next week. My roommate has 3 packages of Boursin from her mom's trip to Costco, so we can use it up

I saw that three-pack last time I was at Costco. It didn't have the pepper-flavored Boursin that the recipe calls for, but I imagine any of the flavors would be fabulous.

I saw that you posted this recipe last week, so I vought the stuff to make it.
They didnt have the pepper boursin, so I am subbing the shallot and chive, and will add in more pepper, will report back on how it goes!
