How about calling the doctor BEFORE you go to sleep.

Just pick up the phone and start calling. Explain the situation, that you have been to the ER, etc. ASK how soon they can possibly get you in, get on the call list if someone cancels an appointment. You don't need to wait to work anything out...just call. You can probably call 5 doctors office in 30 minutes or less.

And give up the stupid and immature idea to break onto private property to use the hot tub. First of all, it's stupid and immature. Second, it's illegal and that should mean something to someone who desires to work in law enforcement. Start BEING the person you want to be. Third, a hot tub might be good for your back but how the heck do you think you are going to be hopping fences when you are doubled over in pain? You'd be lucky to get over without causing yourself further injury.

It would just be going to my old apartments and sitting in the hot tub for a bit. And I'm 5'3" you think I can hop a fence..someone hops it and opens the pool gate from the inside.

And I promise ill call but Im like legitly about to start crying right now from my back and exhaustion...I just want to go to sleep.

That's still tresspassing. Do you think that you will get hired as a police officer if you end up with a record while you're an adult?

Well then you already know that you have lost your qualification, according to 18-18-404 and 18-18-405.

Percoset, valium, xanax, vicodin, even Tylenol 3 are all controlled substances. You've already admitted here on this forum that your mom gave you some (unlawful possession) and that you have taken them (unlawful use).

Thank goodness you know the laws.

edited to add: 18-8-308 could be a problem too, failure to disclose a conflict of interest. That conflict would be, someone who applies for a job that involves enforcing the law, while willfully and knowingly violating the law she applies to enforce. Unless of course, you are telling the Academy that you have no intention of ever enforcing trespassing laws. Then I guess it'd be okay to hop the fence and jump in a hot tub that you are not authorized or invited to use.

STOP IT! Quit going to the ER for pain medication. If you go to the ER, it should be for the cortizone shot ONLY.

You're wasting money. You can get migraine medication from a GP.

You have to be CONVICTED of them.
I have never been in trouble with the law. I have never been charged with anything. I have never even been pulled over EVER, not even for a warning.

My record is cleaner than the inside of a Clorox bottle.

Don't forget underage drinking, reckless driving, endangering minors....who knows what else.

The difference between you and a criminal is that you haven't been caught yet. That's nothing to be proud of.

Meanwhile, after sleeping all day will you be able to be awake to call and get an appointment with a doctor tomorrow?

There is no difference between her and a criminal. Having no convictions, and breaking the law, still makes her a criminal. She's simply not a convicted criminal. It'll be interesting when she turns in the actual application and they run a security check on her, including her IP address, hospital records, medical records, drug testing, FBI records, prints, traffic tickets issued, etc. etc...especially if someone helps them along and directs them to this thread.

Anything they can't find through their own internal checks, they can find right here. And she's offered a LOT of information about herself, from the fact that she's 20 and lives with her mother and brother in a rental, to her employment at bed bath and beyond, to her previous occupancy at an apartment building nearby that has a fence and a hot tub, the fact that she's got a history of ER visits and controlled substance prescriptions, PLUS her mom has a history of controlled substance prescriptions, and her history of migraines...

I'm guessing if I was the Police Academy in Colorado, it'd be very VERY easy to identify this particular applicant, just by reading this one thread, in this one forum. And - interestingly enough, there is, on this website, a category dedicated to people living in Colorado. I wonder how many members of this website are Colorado police officers, who would be interested in knowing what kind of fresh meat to expect in the next class of academy students.
