I have to say I'm a little surprised that people have said this seems juvenile. I've seen posters in homes from museums. In fact I have a couple myself I bought in Amsterdam and I've never heard anyone say that this seemed like a turnoff. Of course it would depend on what sort of movie poster it was. If it was from some stupid stoner movie then yes it would seem juvenile but if it was something that had some artistic appeal and was a classic movie I can't imagine why a woman wouldn't like it. Also, it goes without saying that a poster of a hot chick in a bikini as part of a beer ad that's attached to the wall with scotch tape or thumb tacks will be a turnoff of biblical proportions (Oh no, I just remembered that I have a poster of a hot babe holding a machine gun that I bought at a gun show but at least it's not on the wall).
You're better off without a woman who judges how you decorate YOUR place. It's your territory. Imagine how it would be living with her. You wouldn't have a say.
Don't assume women have more 'taste' in interior design than you do or else you'll give your future SO the impression she's responsible for it and you will have to tolerate a lot of stuff you absolutely hate!

I know a guy who is turning 30 who still has pictures of sports illustrated chicks in bikinis taped on his bedroom walls...dude grow up! Once you are out of college, those have GOT TO GO!
Thumbs up to you for making an attempt to pull the room together, so to speak. A lot of guys in their 20s still use a milk crate as a coffee table in front of a stained couch and a big TV.
It depends what it is. I have a framed poster/print in my living room. My dh had this in his apartment when we met and it's one of the things that drew me to him. I remember looking at him, and looking at the poster- for quite a while, and thinking "I get it".
I don't know. I'm over 50 and I like movie posters. I am a film buff and even though have no posters of my own in my house they wouldn't bother me at all.
(Freddie Kruger posters, Jason-friday the 13th posters, Texas chainsaw posters)
Can I get you a drink? Bloody Mary perhaps?
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!
(SHE RUNS OUT THE DOOR!)
"What's gotten in to her?"
