Will do! If I even look at another piece of candy I feel queasy. I probably shouldn't have eaten so much for breakfast and lunch. I think I'll skip dinner. ;p
They came around here early too. It definitely is different than when I was growing up (or even a few years back). Now they come in cars (and I don't even think they live in our neighborhood ).
Same here. Nowadays it seems they plan their trick-or-treat routes more thoroughly than the Normandy invasion. Figure which neighborhoods to hit and which houses look the best, allow 1.354 minutes per stop, rehearse all the "thank you" lines...not to mention "Free X-Rays of your Candy" stations.
For the last several years I've said that Halloween was taken from the kids by the adults. Another holiday ruined.

It IS!!! It started a few years back when a student's older brother was deployed to Afghanistan. That student has since graduated, but the program is still going strong.

We don't get trick or treaters, thanks to the NYC Marathon folks. They begin fencing us in 2 weeks before the marathon. We came home to tents all over the grounds and horrible snow fencing all around the housing area. They've taken over even more area this year and my kitties are going nuts, not to mention they are always nuts for 2-3 days after we return home from a trip.

We have tons of kids in our hood but they never seem to stop at our house. Wonder if it's because we are registered on that special website run by the state ?
