When your date squeals and says delightedly, "Like OMG...my dad has THAT SAME car! And that same cologne. And that same shirt. And the same set of golf clubs. And the same taste in music and..."
Hey I have a friend who's 19 and we have long discussions about music and bands - have since she was like 16. How many 16 year olds do you know who love the New York Dolls, Johnny Thunders, Velvet Underground?
And yeah, I think she found her way to a lot of it via her dad's record collection... but I've never heard her say "like OMG!" Can't confuse "young" and "airhead," they're not synonyms.
And every dude who knows anything about women knows Old Spice is one of the safest after shaves out there. Why? Cuz chances are dad wore it...
I am 42 and actively pursue women under 28 with little interest in any closer to my age. Lately, I've been running around with a 21 year old. I just do not care.
In all seriousness, why would any sex, of any age, want to date a college person, besides another college student?
College is the home of liberalism. I just can't see somebody in the real world, having anything in common with a college student.
I think you belong in the politcal forum. Everything is 'liberal' to you. You posted in the other thread that something was 'liberal' too. I think that you just think the entire real world is 'liberal'.
You're attempting to put down people that are getting a higher education. I mean, these people are doing somethiing to better themselves, to put them higher than the uneducated... yet you have to make it look like it's something bad. How horrible.
I'd rather go out with a college girl than someone who never thought about their education or future.
College students come in all forms just like people of all ages. There's no reason to stereotype them.

There is the real world, and then there is Academia. I would want to date a realist.
I've said it before and will say it again: Majority of men are attracted to much younger women. A high school student wants a college girl, a 30 year old man wants a college girl, as well as a 40 and 50 and 60. There is nothing new here!!! And why wouldn't he? Young tight body, soft young skin...there is nothing surprising about it.
If I was going back in time however, when I was 21, I would still go for someone who is no more than 10-12 years older than me. A girl's got to think ahead. A 60 year old man simply cannot keep up with someone who is 40 and in her sexual prime. Even just physically, certain positions would be too difficult to handle.
On the other hand, there is something so sexy about a 40 year old man who prefers women his own age, that's because it's unexpected. It's refreshing to see a man in his 40s who doesn't run after someone his own children's age and who is not a walking "cliche".
Does that add up on the other side though? Do younger women generally want older men?
According to my observation, desire for older men ends at around 40. I have always been attracted to older men, but I can see how the switch can turn in 8-10 years.
