How do you feel about Christians dating and marrying atheist people? Honestly, I don't think the relationship could work, or if it did, it would be very difficult for it to do so. Atheists have been ranked as being the most despised and mistrusted group in America. They are also ranked the lowest on the type of people parents would approve of their children marrying.
Well, if you mix a Christian with an atheists, isn`t that the opposite of each other? Christian believe in God, atheists don`t.
Relationship wouldn`t work....

Oddly enough, my marriage seems to be working just fine.

On the surface it wouldn't seem like a good plan in general. But I'm sure there are couples who manage to pull it off when they truly love and respect one another.
BTW, it's not up to me or anyone else to "approve" of such marriages

You can't lump all atheists or Christians into a single category and expect them to act like robots when differences of opinion or belief come into play. I'm an atheist but I am open to the possibility of marriage to a Christian is she's open minded and there is mutual respect for each other's beliefs. Partners disagree on everything you can think of and yet they can often overcome those differences and allow their common feelings and their respect for one another to make things work. I don't think a loving couple would allow this to become a barrier to their relationship anymore than if one of them loved steaks and barbecued chicken while their partner was a vegetarian.
I'm an atheist married to a self-proclaimed Christian. We get along just fine.
Even though, when asked, he professes to be a Christian, I would never guess it. He often doesn't act like one. I feel the need to remind him of that every now and then.
