I agree, that's a horrible look for men. Very effeminate.
So are "mom" jeans on men. You have to have the right balance of fit and relaxed look. Also don't have them pulled up to your eyeballs or sagging to your knees!

Yesterday I was reading somebody FINALLY came up with the pretty damn simple idea to pull the low rise jeans a little higher (still bellow the belly button), so that the muffin-top effect can be avoided. I've known that since forever (as have most women who have some meat on them); since some totally skinny male gay designer came up with the muffin-top jeans to begin with!

Yeah the mom/dad jeans are just as bad. For the same cost as those dreadful things you can find something more stylish. All the major brands offer an updated look to their catalog.
