On your first point I actually agree with Donna. Not that coffee can't be a 'real date' but IMO a real date would be going to get dinner, go bowling something like that. As for your second, yeah I'm a bit skeptical. I'll let things mellow out, just play it out a bit and then ask her. Probably on Wednesday or next Friday. If it doesn't work then, I'll just throw my hand and eventually forget about it.

There's nothing about coffee that automatically makes it a date, but there's no reason why it can't be a date if the 2 people view it as a date. But like I said, friends can get coffee. The only way she would know you're romantically interested is if you told her.

If I remember correctly, the same girl said she wanted to study economics with you. That's a sign that she's at least interested in you as a friend.

If you ask her again and she says no, she probably just wants to be a friend and assumes you want something more.

No that's a different girl (who has a boyfriend lol). But yeah she's probably interested in being my friend.
