My brother has been to Florida. He said the Sunshine was wonderful, but the Humidity almost knocked him out.

Miami wouldn't feel like heaven's waiting room either. I was thinking more Florida keys. But Burn Notice Miami seems rather pleasant.

The worst humidity happens in a summer, and yes, it could get very brutal. I'm a heat lover though, so I'm not too bothered by it.

Neither of us said Miami and I wasnt thinking it. The Keys would be nice, expensive there, both real estate and taxes on the same. I might eventually wander that way, it had been in my mind. Still thinking about doing Hawaii. I have been there a number of times and loved it but that was vacation. Living there might be different. Even more expensive than the keys though. Something to think about as retirement looms closer for me.

You guys can have that humidity..... hell with that......

I was in Galveston one time in August when I was 18 or so, and I swore I'd never go back to that kind of nonsense again.

You could slice the air with a knife. To say it was uncomfortable would be a polite way of wording it......

I didn't think fisherman retired... I plan to work doing something until I can't any more.
