I just put my boy on a plane to Denver. His very first solo flight. Yeah...I'm doing the worrying mom thing. I need to carry my tired butt to bed...but I don't think I can sleep.

I work with this younger guy. He's smart, really smart. He's so smart that he is sloppy.
He's about 10 yrs younger then me, be in our business only about 4 yrs or so, I've been it it about 17 or so.
He treats me in our interactions like I'm a subordinate. I'm trying to keep my ego separate, I'm just having a hard time listening to a guy 12 yrs my junior talk to me like I'm some kind of rookie.
I realize that some people confuse seniority with talent, I'm not one of them. It's taking a lot of my energy to not knock the mother fu cker into his place.
I don't want to be that "old" guy that can't handle new blood. I just don't think I'd be so disrespectful, is all..
Which is odd, cause he's of Asian decent and most Asian people seem to have a respect for their elders, this guy treats me like I'm some kind of rookie.

I agree. I've always found people of Asian descent to be most respectful of their elders. He must have been adopted by an American couple.
Right on both counts, brother. When one of the perps refused to leave, electing instead to stubbornly sit on a stool, and all other methods were exhausted, I simply whispered in his ear "In three seconds, either you or the stool will be on the floor".
He saw the light, right through his oh-so-dark sunglasses.
Wow, that was such a great trip. We all bonded so well, I miss everyone already and I'm so bloody bored.
****, I really miss these folks lol. It's funny how just living with a bunch of people for a week can make you all become friends (assuming everyone jives well).

I need to carry my tired butt to bed...but I don't think I can sleep. 
I am tired though...didn't get to bed until midnight and was up at 3. I think I'm gonna try - I'm too pooped to do much else right now.
