****, I really miss these folks lol. It's funny how just living with a bunch of people for a week can make you all become friends (assuming everyone jives well).
Sounds like you just made some good friends to keep in touch with.
Yup and I plan on doing just that! What's nice is we're having a reunion in like two weeks lol. And one of the people in our group said she's inviting us to her 21st birthday party

Do they live close to you? Sounds like a good set of friends that could turn into a band of closeknit family unit.
It was a service-learning trip to DC (so not much of a trip for me lol) to learn about combating human trafficking both in the US and worldwide, and we also did some hands-on stuff. It was very enlightening, and a lot of fun despite being a heavy subject. All the people in my group are great folks and super friendly, we had plenty of laughs.

Close? Not really. We all go to the same university but I'm a commuter, which really blows when it comes to making friendships stick. I'm gonna give these my all to say the least. I really hope I get on-campus housing next semester, because I can't stand the isolation that comes with commuting (especially if you don't have a car).

If you're a commuter, you obviously can't spend as much time with them as their dorm friends. People should cut commuters some slack when it comes to friendship. But unfortunately, that's not the way it works.
Eh I don't think it's an issue of cutting slack, it's simply the way it is. It's hard for a person to get together with others when that person has to go to/from school, has all of his study items at home, etc. It also makes going to parties hard because drinking + driving don't mix (obviously), and drinking + not being able to take the Metro because it's closed is also a bad situation. It's easier for groups to go out when they can all meet in front of the student union in 15 minutes, etc.
