To be fair we have a 3 year old that really does occupy most of our time so it's difficult to find the time to be intimate. HOWEVER, she's a little unwilling to find more creative solutions than just if it's not dark out and not in our own bed then we can't do it.....

That does sound a little familiar Both the unwilling to be creative and the child part. Ours is 9 1/2 months.
I've tried to get him to do it in the shower- too uncomfortable. Me on the counter- him standing. Lots of ways. But, if he's not "comfortable", things don't seem to function because he gets frustrated. I got some of that KY stuff to make things "slippy" so he has less time to get frustrated.
At the moment, things are picking up. It's about twice a week now. I went out of town for a week and since I got back, things have been better. Maybe he needed to miss me a little. For me personally, 3 times is sufficient, 4 is almost pushing it unless we can do it in the morning or atleast when I am not exhausted. My goal is to get back to doing it on Saturday or Sunday morning like we used to. It's a great start to the day.
I will say one thing about us, maybe not everyone. That is that when we are intimate on a regular basis, it brings us closer together and makes it easier to communicate on other levels. Oh and I almost forgot, I am 32 and he 33.

well i know that she is tired a lot she works full time and our kids are 7,4,1.5 so she is tired a lot
I think sex and drive are so very different when you're younger. Young kids physically wear you out and oftentimes there's just nothing left to give. Also, I think (as has been mentioned) that a female's sex drive just is not in their 20's and even 30's for me, what it becomes later. In your 40's, the kids are typically older, you're not as concerned about the flat stomach or a chest that sits up high like it use to because you know his abs aren't there neither, etc. There's just less focus on that expectation of everything having to be perfect... you learn to appreciate and enjoy a little more perhaps?
shoot dh is gone all week in otr..i'm lucky to ""see"" him on the weekends..Phone sex does NOT do it for me........there are NOT enough hours in the 34hr restart of the weekend............especially after their laundary comes in and they are starving to death..and oh yes we live NEXT to his Mother..u know what that means..........MOMMY DO's............
Hubby and I are in our low 30s and we are about 2 to 3 times a week...sometimes more, sometimes less. Just depends on how we feel, stuff like that...we are in the middle of trying to make a baby so we've been having lots more!
Well come on I can't hold onto her all day, keep stringing the popcorn garland. Oh and don't forget the Stencils
