Not trying to accuse you of anything (please correct me if I'm wrong), but you have referred to your husband here as an "insecure control freak", a "jerk", has "stupid inferiority", should "get help", "childish", to list a few. Do you do this when you argue with him?
OP : Do you refer to or * think* of your husband with the above terms ?

OP, your husband is feeling betrayed. Either work on your marriage or move on. Why would you continue torturing your husband emotionally by staying friends with this guy? Isn't your husband's friendship worth more than this guy's?

I've tried that already. My husband hates my friend.

Sadly, one of my old boyfriends was obsessed with the ex who dumped him, he hang on until he was * healed * and they could be * friends * and then I stepped into the picture.... I quickly realized he was her * friend * because he HOPED that she would * wake up * and take him back.

I ended it because I don't do emotional 3-somes in relationships....

Why should I have to choose? If I ditch my friend, nothing is solved and the same will happen again if I befriend another man.
