How true is that statement. I realize most women hate it when a man cries unless they are really in love with him.

I had an ex who cried at everything. It didn't make me not respect him except when it's used to say how he'd change after a fight (and never did).

not true, my ex boyfriend cried in front of me and it made me fall even more deeper in love with him, unfortunately the feelings didn't last very long, but at the moment i still had much respect for him, it showed his human side something i never got to see very often.

I don't hate anyone who cries, man or woman. We are all human with emotions and frailties. Crying and sadness are part of the human condition.

I think when a man cries, it shows concern..a soft side, per say..
It doesn`t mean he is any less of a man, because he lets his feelings out!

I think that's something that men tell each other, I don't think any woman would leave a man for showing some emotion. The opposite is sometimes true though.

Personally, if he's crying over something that is very moving, I think it takes a heck of a secure man to show that particular emotion in public.

I guess it would depend on what he was crying about- If a loved one just died- it would be understandable- if you took the last cookie and he started blubbering- dump him

If a man doesn't cry when faced with the loss of a loved one, I would leave him. Crying is a normal thing. Why would it make anybody less of a man? Being man enough to show your feelings is sexy.
