It was a long night as I awaited morning before calling my brothers, sisters, children. I have no words to express my gratitude for all of your kind words but know that I feel it even as I am inadequate to describe it.
I will not eulogize my mom save to say that her love was giving and without condition. I was blessed to have it and we will not mourn what was lost, we will celebrate what was. I looked at Neemies pictures with some interest as my first grandchild is due on the 20th. I am reminded that life goes on and even though I have a great sadness I am relieved that my mom does not have to suffer any more.
Crab, didn't realize you had brothers too. So hope all of your brothers and sisters can come together in this time of sadness and get along and remember and talk good things about your mom.
Possum is getting tons of cuddles and giving them right back. She's an absolute dream dog.
