I have gone to movies by myself.

Oh I'm not bashing it. If you really want to go see a movie and no one else wants to go with you, then by all means.

I just hate sitting in the theater by myself. I haven't seen a movie in in theater in almost 2 years now.

I understand, to each his own...It's also very expensive to see a movie in a theater these days.
Some movies are meant to be watched on a big screen and "The Rise...." was one of them.

If I really want to see the movie when it hits Blue Ray, I can use my friend's projection screen to watch it.

But I didn't really care for the other Planet of the Apes movies either, so it'll probably fall by the wayside lol.

I did recall Neemy saying she was dealing with some painful things out there so I had a quick look see, her last post reads thus...

Hey guys

Sorry I've been MIA - I may be for a little while. Got a lot going on, personally, a couple close family members have some serious health issues, my father's surgery is tomorrow, and recently a close friend - who has been sick for some time with lupus, has confided she won't be around much longer. I won't go into specifics out of respect for my friend, even though she has no idea I post here. It doesn't seem right. But it's devastating.

Yes, cheerful news, all of it... Just wanted you all to know that I am okay. Just haven't been in a very chatty mood.

The original Apes movie came out when I was 6 or 7 I loved it! Saw it recently and I still thought it was really good! I hate going to the movies alone (don't think I have) but with kids I rarely get to see what I want...saw Friends With Benefits with my 17yr old ...rather have put needles in my eyes for two hours!!

Well, for any cancellation, this movie is NOTHING like previous Planet of the Apes ones, but whatever...

Yes, I remember this post and that's why I'm a little concerned.
