The Ballad of Prince Frog's Legs


It was 'round in middle-summer
Prince Frog's legs became the prize.
Still he sat upon his lily pad
To nobody's surprise

"I won't be caught!" that froggy sang
(His voice showed up on Doppler!)
But then the sad part of my tale -
He ran into the cobbler!

"I'll have one bite" the frog-prince thought
"And that will just be that!"
Too bad the froggy ate too much
His stomach became fat

"Oh, mercy please!" he stammered out
But fell into Belle's clutches
So now Prince Frog hobbles around
On little wooden crutches!
