You're right. I worry way too much about it. I just need to accept that part of who I am.

What kind of dates are you going on? Is it dinner? Shows? Sports?

I guess I'm just not into "stuff"...I mean I love a good restaurant but if I want to get to know someone I'd prefer something casual where we can get to know one another. Some of the best dates are free.

We went out to dinner the first one, and it lasted like 5 hours. We talked the whole time. It ended well....

We went out a second time and just walked around the city for a few hours, went to a bar for a bit. It ended well...

We talked up until like Sunday and made plans for this weekend. Then I asked her today how her week was going and she said good. I eased into the plans we had made about a week ago, and she said that's not a really good idea.

I kind of liked her and she was really chill and that's what I like. But oh well.

You don't need to spend so much on a date. It makes you look desperate for her approval. The RIGHT lady would advise you to save your money and not pay everything for her.

You know you're probably right.

I'd still insist on paying though.

Lot's of things can cost this much, but yes maybe he needs more simpler dates until he knows it's going some where.

I've never spent that kind of money on a date with anyone I wasn't actually in a relationship with. Definitely keep it simple at first.
