What is with all these female schoolteachers having sex with their students? (date, how to)

I think an interesting part of what this conversation's about is related to how we define "little" or how we define "boy".
14, 15, 16 isn't really "little" anymore, and they're not really "boys" but not totally "men". Just as women this age aren't really "girls" or full-on "women" yet.
Since there isn't really a way to quantify this, why do we feel the need to report these things as "female schoolteacher has sex with boy" or "Professor has sex with female student" instead of "Schoolteacher Fired for Inappropriate Conduct Towards Student"?
A lot of it is in the wording and how things are reported. I've just noticed that guys seem to talk about a "hot" female professor/teacher a lot more than the ladies seem to talk about "hot" male professors/teachers.

There aren't that many. Out of the millions of teachers in the US, only a few are charged with that. I remember a male teacher at my old HS being caught with one of the boys.
