Actually, that would annoy me, too. I can see how she might be afraid of suggesting something that could be out of your price range, but that's where the conversation goes something like this:
"What's a good place to go in your neighborhood?"
"That depends. What kind of food are you in the mood for?"
"How about Italian?"
"I think I might know a place." And then she finds an Italian restaurant that isn't Olive Garden but isn't Ristorante Empti di Wallet either.
Heck, if a guy was traveling a fair distance, I might spring for the third date. I certainly wouldn't shoot down a suggestion he made, particularly if he already said it was his treat, unless I had previously gotten food poisoning there or something.
I just went to yelp, searched for the city, checked the boxes for the two of those neighborhoods that are listed, typed in "restaurants, seafood," and lo and behold, up popped 39 listings.

But remember that one always has to take everything that TVSG says with a case of salt to hand. He has a hard time keeping his stories straight ...
Remember too that she made all the effort to travel to where HE is for the first two dates and he treated her once to ice cream and once to coffee. Wow.
Wouldn't it be better to find out what kind of restaurants are in those areas, and pick from that? Your search is too narrow. Does she even like seafood?
Yes she does but not steak. So I have 2 now on the list at 12:30pm

True, that. But I try to post responses with an eye toward helping others who might have a similar question.
Be a man with a plan. Thats exactly what she is looking for. You can look on-line and find something interesting. AND dont ask her.. tell her you will pick up up at (whatever time) and just take her to the place, also have a second activity after the first one. Good luck...
