I'm not sure that you and chow were on the same page. He said "can handle big hoses" but nothing of their own whereas you said "work their hose". So I'm guessing here that you were talking about hetro firemen while chow... well who really knows what chow might be talking about? Gay firemen? I.E. "Hey, looks like you could use having your hose handled" hehe

Well now you have a point. And if I recall, that's the second gay statement chow has made this week...

Not that there is anything wrong with that!
