No offense froggie...lol
She could have done that. But good god talk about paranoid people in this world.

Kind of difficult to poison a fountain drink when the people are watching me pour it into my cup and then watch me walk outside of the place.

Forget it. I won't do another nice thing ever again if this is the kind of garbage people do behind the back of nice folk.

Don't get your frog legs all twisted up there!

My mama taught me never to leave my drink unattended!

Now if it had a cap on it (like a powerade or gatorade) then yeah...no problem. But if it's a fountain drink...it's just not worth the risk.

Never ever leave your drink! Some one will drink it! And that stuff is costly!

LOL

Well not to mention I've been telling my kids to be wary of strangers, not to accept candy or gifts, don't go up to their cars...etc. and then what?

Completely disregard everything I've been trying to teach them by doing exactly what I told them NOT to do...and right in front of the child? You have got to see this from the perspective of a parent.

Eventually they will be socialized enough to know who they can trust and who they can't (hopefully) but until then I will not introduce any shades of grey.

Nah. I'm just going to drop it. No point in trying to convince people anyway since they're always prepared to assume the worst in anything and everything.

Be the last time I share a decent humane story on this site as well. Seriously paranoid people in this place.

You know Froggie...I do think it was a very nice gesture and the mom was thankful so kudos to you.

Yes I am paranoid. I just don't trust anyone implicitly. Well, my mom I guess but that's about it.

When nice people try to do nice things for others and when they turn there back to you they're doing a complete 180, it's no wonder why people aren't doing nice things for others anymore.

This is probably the reason why people become A holes.

Possibly.

Too many creeps out there also, which makes it hard for most genuine people to be trusted.
