Looks like you have a beach-front property now, Chunk! I'm still waiting for CA to cooperate, but the damn thing doesn't so far!

Phil, you are allowed to talk about a man in a boat for the next few days without any glaring from me.

If you could teach those girls some synchronized swimming the show could still go on!

That's a LOT of water! Hopefully the damage won't be too bad.

The wood-sided building on the right is a popular sea-food house that's just up the street from the club. I haven't confirmed it yet, but it was reported that the building collapsed after this was taken. There's a road in front, going over the bridge that is normally about 15' above the waterline.

If justthe6 does, I wish her the best....

A friend's nephews wife essentially told the hospital where & how she would work and they hired her anyway, this was twenty years ago. I'm betting you can't do that now.

I'm betting it wouldn't be too far off.

With all the hospitals in my area there is still a shortage. I've been looking at their job postings....there are TONS of postings for RN's.

ETA...
Wake Med: 57 positions available for General Nursing (RN)
Duke: 227 positions looking to be filled
Rex: 75 open positions

This is just the larger local hospital systems.

Parks= a.k.a flood plains.
We have several parks near streams in low lying areas that become flooded plains during heavy rains.
