lol, one of the hazards of posting on my phone. I saw this when it came out at the theater. I was just a kid then and I still remember being truly disturbed after it was over. Seems much more tame now but back then... Yikes.
Just got into this discussion last night. Correct about made up girls being noticed, but when its being done every day and she has to go out of her way to do it, I just say to relax and don't worry about it. Some girls need it and look a lot better with it, but if you don't NEED it, I don't need you to put on makeup just so we can walk down the street for food. That starts to get into, stop being so vain territory.

I was in college when The Exorcist came out. I'd heard that it was so scary grown men were fainting. I didn't think it was very scary. (Although, I'm sure I would've been scared if I was several years younger.) I thought the book was way better.

I'm blonde, and have felt it necessary to wear makeup on my eyebrows and lashes since I was in junior high school. Without it, I look anemic.
