I will re-iterate that I hate the obviously overly-made up look. Unless she has really great skin (without need of makeup whatsoever), if it is really made up to look not made up, that is the ideal.

Wow, Kim is the best-looking without makeup. Hmm.

Men do prefer women who look and act natural, but too many women take that literally. It's not that a woman who doesn't wear makeup is ugly; it just kind of indicates attracting male attention wasn't on the agenda that particular day, or maybe any day. I do know that men appreciate women who make an effort, as long as they don't overdo. If what you have on is being noticed instead of the overall image, you've overdone it!

Savvy women know how much work and time it takes to achieve looking natural. Most women I know need moisturizer/sunscreen, tinted lipgloss subtle blush and a comb at a bare minimum when they leave the house.

And the guys who say they like a girl who "acts like she's one of the guys"? They don't really mean that, if you really think about some of what is typically known as "GUY-TYPE BEHAVIOR"

From my observation men do not like when a woman piles so much make-up on that when they wake up next to her the "morning after" their reaction is "Is this the person I just had sex with?"

I think most men prefer when a make-up is done tastefully or minimum make-up.

Do men really prefer women without makeup?
Yes!!! Always. But I can only speak for myself.

on the other hand if a girl leaves the house without using make up to even out her skin tone and hide her blemishes, or color in her eyebrows to make them even and full or not highlight her eyes with eyeliner and mascara, leave her hair in its natural wavy/bushy state...the guys wouldn't look twice at her and think of her as ugly.

so what im getting at is...guys SAY they want their girls natural- but they actually prefer glossed up girls who artfully conceal their imperfections as opposed to those who dare to go barefaced and natural.

is this true?
I like girls without makeup, assuming they have a nice face in the first place. Obviously well-applied makeup won't really be noticeable, so I guess I like that as well. But if a girl's face looks lovely when she's just waking up or just out of the shower, well, you know she's good looking

I'm not sure. At some point in a relationship I think the guy doesn't care that much anymore. But in the initial stages of the relationship they do expect the girl to look much more polished.

It is shocking when you see a woman without when you are so use to seeing her with it, celebrities being a perfect example.
