But look at the amount of MEN in prisons for shootings, bar fights, domestic abuse, etc. Look at stupid things they do over sports.
Men are just as "excitable"...they just show it in different ways.

Why are grown men so prone to posting threads that reveal the social cluelessness of a 12-year-old?

Oopsie! Guess I generalized.

At least you specified "grown"...

A better question for the OP to pose might be - "Why am I so attracted to excitable women, and find the ones who are calm, rational and intelligent so boring?"
But that's for your counselor, not the forum...

Honestly, I've seen guys be just as "excitable", and I've seen girls be very muted. I say this is a personality thing more than anything, and you are looking at stereotypes.

Good example of excitable guy... the game nerd that go crazy when x game comes out...

Or a car show, or in line when a new video game system comes out.

Women are not really more excitable... just more trivial.

But its hard to argue even that when you see how men act with sports. I'm a man and I've never understood the obsession with sports. To me its just a stupid game and it doesn't matter.

People in general are just petty and dramatic over stupid things.
