Taking off for the weekend and going hiking would be a no-go.... Being able to do a skiing day trip or a good long run.

Absolutely! I'm neither obese nor even overweight and yet I won't join any of the activities above. Walking in nature - fine; hiking - not really. OK, I may watch the slopes with a hot choc or red wine in hand, but since I was given only one set of limbs, I prefer to keep them intact. As far as running, I don't run unless somebody chases me and even then I may want to be caught...
they like a certain body type if you have anything else you can forget it. that 'free beer' pretty much sums up every man I have ever met with the exception of one or two. that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
If all of the men you have met are anything like "Free Beer," you, my dear, are in serious trouble. You are definitely meeting the wrong men.
For women, that happens often. For guys, not so much.
I've seen the opposite. I think men may commonly end up in relationships with women who start out thin and put on weight over the years, but women are more likely to give a bigger guy a chance on the outset of the relationship.
Yes.. I know there are exceptions to every rule, but would you say that a majority of marathon runners are overweight?
Here is an example of an overweight athlete, Roy Nelson......
No, I wouldn't say the MAJORITY of marathon runners are overweight - but I'm saying that you can't always tell someone's fitness level by their physique. I'm not talking about people that are morbidly obese or anything - but sometimes I get the impression on here that if someone doesn't have a body like Megan Fox or something similar - people assume she sits around eating hamburgers all day and watching soap operas. I'm simply saying that I know people that may look 20lbs overweight or so but are in better shape than I am.
A previous poster made a great point. There seems to be this disconnect between being in shape and having a fit looking body. I think people who have a fit looking body are really attracted to other people who have fit looking bodies. The issue that comes into play is whether that fit looking looking body is in shape to do a marathon or go hiking. I played football in college, and I had a six pack, and was less than 10% bodyfat (man I miss those days), but I couldn't run a marathon to save my life and if I tried to go hiking or rock climbing, I would be gassed half way through.

What I'm saying is that you'll never see big (i.e. fat or overweight) men who are overwhelmed by female attention.
It is what it is..at least you have control over your weight somewhat..If you're not gettign the results you want dating eat less and run more..
Most women dont like short guys theyres nothing we can do about our height
