If my SO had been into it, maybe so. But he's not, so no.

Whatever makes him happy.

Forget the rings. Save the money and spend it on more practical things.

[my opinion, of course]

Interesting. Msn said 17% of men would wear one, and we are right around that same % here.

I have a feeling a lot would depend on the wording though. I mean, I think my husband would have worn an engagement ring if I had bought him one because he would want to make me happy and wouldn't want to offend me. However - given the choice of wearing one or not wearing one, I'm pretty sure he would opt to not wear one.

I really don't like wearing a wedding band, but it is important to my wife. Certainly much more important to her than it is to me to not wear it. I voted no, if given the choice I don't want to wear rings.

bingo!

I voted that I "would wear" one. That's assuming that my fiance gave me one to wear, and I wouldn't want to hurt her feelings by taking it to the pawn shop for a ten-spot. But I'd rather have a sliver under my finger nail. That I could get rid of....

So I take it this is a separate ring from the actual wedding band? If so that makes no sense.

If I had bought one, my now-hubby probably would have worn it. Instead, I bought him something I KNEW he would want...a fishing kayak
