The reality is that most people who do porn have been sexually abused in childhood. If you are watching porn, you are supporting these porn "actors" and "actresses" in a very unhealthy way of life. It's similar to the way buying illegal drugs supports violence and enriches a few evil drug kingpins.
I'm into it, as are most of my male friends and relatives. I think like most people I go through phases of how much I'm into it and again like most people its not an obsession.

That's an outright lie. I know, personally, many people in the business. While I'm not in it (directly) myself, I may as well be given my relationships. They are normal people outside of their chosen profession.
You have sexploitation ( male ) and soap opera ( female ). In between in drama. Pornography is just sexplotation with sex scenes over shadowing events. That is all. Why men watch it? Because it is mens media, no matter what median it is contained in. Seriously all male people have some kind of sex oriented related item, as well as women. From young children to older folks, it is no differnt.
About pornstars? Who cares, is a person prefers that work, then they prefer that work. Their is all kinds of variants. Pornography is as old as film itself. Their are ones from the age of exploration.
Some people in the business are complete jerks at the same time. This one guy I know still thinks it is cool. The biggest problem I heard, ( from the last time I read about it ) was that many of the women do not have nice looking privates. Seriously their is all kinds of things out their nobody will ever seen in a video store or on Netflix ever. However show business is blowbusiness...get it.
We do not even have televisions anymore.
Long story short the website talks about how long term porn viewing can actually rewire the way a person's brain works and is really doing damage to male sex drive and how they view women. It goes on to show how viewing porn can actually become an addiction.
And if you think that website is full of crap just go to r/nofap on reddit and look at the posts from the 9000+ people who have decided to stop watching porn and fapping (myself included) ad see what they have to say about it.

Porn addiction is as bad as any drug addiction. I am a very strong person, never been addicted to cigarettes, alcohol or any drugs, but it does not matter what happens in my life, i tend to always go back to porn.
There have been times when I was so disgusted with porn, what it does to women and the jerks that are in this business, but even being aware of all that, there is something that draws me back to porn and it is totally overwhelming.
I guess now, I can better understand what a drug addiction may be like!
Porn is a just an aid to masterbation.Do people who never watch porn also never masterbate either.If your a man in the shower or a women in the bathtub rubbing one out you are running a porno in your head.And most of the time it is NOT your partner you are thinking about.As to the people who think men and women are forced into the porn industry because a relative touched them when they were young, I say BS to that.I know many people who were molested as kids that still had to make their own choices as adults and still be held accountable for them.These people know what they are doing. Its their choice here and now not the pasts and not yours or mine.
