My boobs were very, very sad when I had to breastfeed
Add in the cost of 4 maternity bras (they have to be washed constantly, sour milk people) and your looking at thousands spent on boobs over a lifetime.
And don't get me started on the cost of feminine products.
If men had boobs, bras would be heavily subsidised.....oh wait, some of them do....
Um.... yes, and no.
Do you know why womens' clothing is SO freakishly expensive when priced against comparable mens' clothing? There is a very valid, psychological reason for it which has entirely to do with marketing:
It's because a man will pay five dollars for a three-dollar item that he WANTS, while a woman will pay three dollars for a five-dollar item she has no use for.
They know where people are willing to spend the money. If you think ALL male-oriented things are cheap, then compare GOOD power tools to moderate-to-low-quality power tools, and there is a GINORMOUS price hike. The craftsmanship is more or less the same, the materials involved are different, but not SO different as to justify that sort of price raise. Yet they know, use your cheap-o, lower-priced Black and Decker and burn through a couple, you are GOING to shell out the money for some solid-state goods!
I, too, believe prices for women are outrageous and obnoxious; however, I'm also willing to shell out the dough for not only a proper bra-FITTING (something a LOT more women could use) but quality, padded materials to keep the sweater-puppies warm (or cool), safe and cozy.
I had a girlfriend in Finland several years back, and her U.S. size was 44FF (WHY was I ever so foolish as to leave her?).
The first time I tore one of her bras apart she said "You're paying for that!" I said "I know" and kept going.
The price of a bra fitted for that DID surprise me, but it blew her mind I was still willing to shell out in order to get her not one nice replacement, but three of pretty nice quality.
OP has gone awfully quiet since he found out how expensive they are....
Just seems like a lot of money to shell out for a one night stand. Sure I could see her again probably, but she lives an hour away from me and I'm moving to a new state in a month.
I like the idea of a gift card as a hook for the second date. Put it in a card with the following text:
"Enclosed is a gift card to replace your bra that we broke while fooling around a few nights ago. I look forward to helping you break your bed in the near future."
Very true, luckily shes not a Nieman Marcus or Nordstrums kind of girl. I never understood an $800 pair of shoes either.
I love those stores. They have great couches and Wi-Fi, tv, etc. You can just give her a credit card and let her and the sales girls screw around with 17,000 assorted items while you get some work done or relax.

Why would you ever let a woman do this with your credit card?
My buddy had a couple girls from his work over last night, and I hit it off pretty well with one of them. In the process I ripped her VS bra and broke it. Would you buy her a new one or just forget it?
Not only should you buy her a new bra,You should be a gentleman and escort her into the fitting room to make sure its a proper fit!

hahaha and then let her buy it, because I support feminism and feel that women don't need a man to buy it for them.
