A lot of girls are unaware of when a guy is hitting on them, they think the guy is just being "nice." I knew this one hot girl and she was talking about how she met this one athlete guy and he was "soo nice" and invited her to this one thing, and another guy who gave her free tickets to this other thing and blah blah blah. She had a boyfriend, she just thought everyone was being "nice" to her, cause that is the world she, as a hot girl, lives in.
i can see buying one particular girl in a group a drink, although even that's not a great idea i think
but certainly if you are going to buy a round you have to include everyone in the group. that even applies whether its for a group of gals, guys, or mixed
I didn't really realize it was a social faux pas until this thread. I've been in a lot of situations where a guy will only buy a drink for 1 or 2 of the women and leave a few out. It actually happens quite often where me and one other girlfriend I have will be left out of the drink buying. Drinks are expensive so I guess I never really worried about it.

well buying one drink for a lady in a group is a little different. i still think it's a bad idea, but it's not the same as leaving one or just a few out
that's far worse. they might as well throw their money down the toilet in that case. funny, since they're probably driven by some sort of ill conceived penny pinching to act in this way

That's true, and that's because most guys are not direct enough when asking women what they want. They hope that just being nice that the woman will in turn make a move on them. I'm guilt as charged as I use to do this myself.
The truth is women are turned on with a guy being aggressive and direct with them. You just have to make sure the girl already likes you for it to work.
lol, reminds me of a story of a guy I knew who picked up a random girl at a club. He took her back to the hotel and simply asked to the girl, "So, are you ready to F***?" He told me she was turned on by his frankness.
