I love how my DH switched cars with me when my air conditioning was broken, and how he always goes to get me gasoline when I'm running low. He digs holes for plants and kills bugs and weeds, too.

Yes, I just can't comprehend why small stuff can mean so much to people. I tend to put more care into stuff that can actually have an impact on me. For example, I took her car to the car wash/detailer and I changed her oil in it myself (I had spare quarts of compatible oil and it needed it). She nearly melted over it. I mean I was thinking "A thank you was enough." I just don't comprehend it. Maybe because I'm a guy or maybe because I tend to be a little more cold but I just don't get it.
