Last time I tried this, she ended up beating the living crap out of me on a regular basis, making me deaf, almost lost a finger when she slammed the door on my hand, strangled me several times in anger...had to run away for my own safety. That's just the physical part. She intercepted my mail, stole my money, refused to turn on the heating in the dead of winter, controlled my food intake, locked me in the room for hours, would leave me stranded in public areas, used my blindness against me (like letting me run into things as a source of amusement) etc. etc. She was abused a lot growing up, but so was I. I think the difference is that she is a true sociopath. In other words, history of abuse and being a sociopath is a perfect recipe for an abuser.
She beat you and that caused your deafness? I hope she is in prison and you received a generous settlement from the civil suit!
Something I've noted about this topic in general:
-some people are true sociopaths
- some people are just in love with themselves more than anyone else and will always be that way.
- some people can love someone but they just don't love you.
