Yes but you still have to be attractive to him to move forward.

Something my dad said a long time ago.

If you have a bunch of money, women wont care about what you look like.

If you don't have a lot of money, you better be physically amazing.

Personality counts for later in life. You better work on one of them or you're SOL.

You, young people, know so little. Problem is that just when we start to get everything figured out, someone pulls the plug on us.

Yes but both will be unhappy emotionally. Materialistic things does not bring full happiness.

Physically amazing will get you temporary girls but not long-term if you arent' stable financially.

Depends on what you think is financially stable... for some reason the men on this forum think this means 'wealthy'. It does not.

It means not eating cereal out of the box every night for dinner (unless you choose too) and being able to live fairly comfortably. I don't care if a guy lives with his parents (I think it's financially sound, especially if you're working your way through college or trying to save up for a down payment on a house) and I don't care if he works a lower end job. But if he's constantly broke because he spends all his money on weed and beer he's not financially stable.

LOL @ weed and beer.

I recently saw an article on MSN and it said that 40% of working Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

That number is scary to me.... 4 out 10 people have absolutey no saving?????

I budget myself so that I live paycheck to paycheck, but if I missed a few paychecks I wouldn't be homeless.

People need to stop spending so much money on bullshyt things like Ipods or cappy-frappy-mocha-latte-espresso whoopty duppty drinks at places like Starbucks.

This is true. But also bear in mind that a lot of people have seen their paychecks cut, have to put up with furloughs, or lost their jobs and have had to take much lower-paying work. What's happening in this country is scary. On the other hand, credit cards make it too easy to avoid fiscal discipline.

It's so true though! I know so many guys who are completely broke and call me for rides or need me to 'spot them a bit of cash' but always seem to have money for weed, beer and cigarettes. Ugh.

I do agree that people need to budget a bit better and live a little lower on the hog.

You really do need a classier environment, Jet. You deserve so much better.

So true. Repped you for that.
