Once because he was having stomach issues (and he actually had an appendectomy the following morning, so I know he wasn't bluffing!) and once because he was tired and in a pissy mood.
My only experience with that was when I was with someone with significant dysfunction. He would fear performance issues, which would in turn contribute to performance issues, which would ultimately result in his just declining the entire experience to avoid dealing with it. I thought it was me for a good chunk of our relationship, and then when it was over, I pursued other things and had it confirmed and reinforced to me that, nope, not me...just him.
I get turning it down occasionally, regardless of gender...most people aren't in the mood all the time and in every context, people get tired, sick, preoccupied, whatever. But if it's consistent...there are probably other problems.
I have turned it down, when I've been sick or exhausted. Perhaps occasionally when I've been very focused on a project I had to do. Otherwise, I have sometimes turned it down after the third time in a day.
When I was younger and worked on a farm all day, I used to come home so exhausted I didn't even care if I had dinner or not. All I wanted to do was sleep!
So I might of turned it down a time or two, I just didn't try to make a habit of it!
Yes I have turned it down on many occassions. Funny though most of the times I have turned down women for sex, they act shocked that a man would actually do that, and want to discuss it with me...good grief
