Notice how I capitalized so much. I grasp the reason why awkwardness in general is frowned upon by women (sign of low confidence/weakness, makes thing uncomfortable, etc), but I really don't see why they have to look at as if it's some incurable disease that they instantly write a guy off for.

Why the hell would anyone want to be around that?

I went on a few dates with a SUPER DUPER awkward dude. Engineering student, met him online, even had the geeky 'sniffle/snort' laugh.

I thought he was pretty awesome

Things fizzled out due to his Mother not wanting him to date me, but I don't really mind awkward dudes as long as they aren't the kind that do whatever their Mothers tell them to.

Someday you'll run into a woman who thinks it's cute and endearing, and your frustrations will be over.

Because in their mind life is all about finding a guy and stability, if they destroy someone's confidence along the way it really doesn't matter because that's not part of what they are looking for, so it sucks, but this is how they are and so are the guys who do this to women too. The bottom line is we have a lot of selfish shallow people who could care less about destroying someone elses' confidence as long as they get what they want. There is no honor, sensitivity, or integrity in most of our society anymore nowadays.

This guy would have been in demand, but I think he tied the knot:

They were together long before Facebook... and his wife is a Doctor so I think she'd do pretty well on her own.
