If anyone remembers the ridiculous college movie "Revenge of the Nerds," the movie ends with a sorority girl, unbeknownst to her because of it being dark, being made love to by one of the guys from the nerd fraternity, and she was orbiting. It's not worth seeing twice, but it was a relatively funny movie.
Notice how I capitalized so much. I grasp the reason why awkwardness in general is frowned upon by women (sign of low confidence/weakness, makes thing uncomfortable, etc), but I really don't see why they have to look at as if it's some incurable disease that they instantly write a guy off for.
Girls don't "hate awkward guys". They just don't want to date one. They are, well, awkward. Uncomfortable to be around. Why would anyone want to date someone like that??

I'm pretty socially awkward. But I don't care - I just kinda go with it. If it bothers people, well, **** 'em. It's the guys that get all self-conscious about being awkward who are annoying. As are the ones who are awkward in an overbearing way, because they can't read the social signals you're sending them - like the guy who suddenly decided I needed a 30-minute tour of downtown rather than heading to our planned destination.
Awkward in life = awkward in the bedroom, who wants that?
Actually one of the last girls I had sex with said "I didn't think you'd be this good." lol
