I don't see it. He mentioned he had Jewish friends. How does that translate to anti-Semitism? In his state of OH, Cleveland has the largest Jewish community. In SoCal, it's a huge community, so it's impossible to grow up there and NOT have Jewish friends. Typically, such an observation comes from someone who is not attuned to the ethnic milieu of America, which changes by region, and your assessment of where 7-11 stands on this issue is incorrect.

How so? Jewish anarchists and intellectuals were the movers and shakers behind the sexual revolution. In fact, it is documented. Calling something that is a documented fact "anti Semetic" is like saying that a lot of Amish people excel in carpentry is anti-Amish.

I already told you one of my best HS friends in LA was Japanese-American. He taught me all the bad words. Do you know them? Japanese is very musical! The words sound so pleasing to the ear, that they don't even sound like swear words. Those Japanese are smart that way. At any rate, all the Asian-Americans I know feel they have nothing in common with immigrant Asians, or they just don't want to have anything in common with them. All the Japanese-Americans I know dated other Japanese-Americans, or Caucasians.
The same thing is true with European immigrants. Those of us who are European-American have little in common with the current wave of European immigrants. They think we're 'Murricans and are too "la-tee-dah" for most of us. The feeling is mutual. I don't care for the ones who hang out amongst themselves. And would I ever date an Italian chick who had recently come to the States and was hanging out with the Italian clique? No. For some reason, they all have the small squarish designer glasses. In some cases, I wonder if the lenses in them are clear glass. Sometimes, within just ONE generation, there is enough of a gap to NOT have much in common.
It isn't so much about having things in common and whatnot - I just feel like telling someone they are only Japanese on the outside because they aren't traditional is totally offensive. My mother doesn't speak much Japanese. She married a Jewish man. We are Japanese American. Our Japanese American culture is very important to us. My mother was born in the camps and most of my relatives were in the camps - no matter how long they had been here for. I dare anyone to tell my family we are only Japanese on the outside.

I didn't find it antisemitic. Jews are pretty..well out there. Just go to Israel. Porn videos are out in the open in "family oriented" markets. I find it funny that its like that. I'm not fazed by that stuff I guess.
It's not on my bucket list. I know it is very liberal, for being in the Middle East. I have Palestinian Catholic friends who live(d) in Israel and they said that it's pretty liberal for their own comparatively relaxed ways.

Funny about the Amish. That's like saying "Germans make good engineers" and someone saying "Oh, you can't say that."
I was amazed to find out, within the last 5 years, that the porn industry is largely conducted in tacky tilt-up office parks smack in the middle of L.A.'s San Fernando Valley (the Valley). The 405 bisects it in roughly two halves and those places are within view of the freeway. I have driven past them at least a thousand times, not even knowing that. Given the demographics of Hollywood's power brokers, your link is not surprising. I was once taking a personal interest class at night, after college, and a student told me "I'm friends with Stephen Spielberg's (or someone's) niece." I thought "And so?" That's the single most annoying thing about living in Los Angeles - that some people think they're special because they are 6 degrees of separation away from a Hollywood mucky-muck.

As far as women from YOUR island go, the "English Rose" types seem to like me best, particularly if red-haired. In 2007, I was on a 49 Euro hop from Gran Canaria to Madrid, and seated in a 3-3 config. I was at the window, and next to me was this Sarah Ferguson-alike, minus her current weight issues, and her husband was in the aisle seat. She looked over and smiled a few times during the flight. Either she found me pleasant, or thought I was a fellow Brit. right back atcha.

We don't have "English Rose" types here in SCOTLAND Robert as we are SCOTTISH......If you are talking about the stereotypical scots lass, red hair green eyes and white skin with freckles then I understand
I see too many white skinned blue/green eyed people its so common here. I prefer a man a bit darker, Im a sucker for Chocolate brown eyes, brown hair and tanned skin.
