delusions of grandeur - a delusion (common in paranoia) that you are much greater and more powerful and influential than you really are.
Just because someone tells you something doesn't mean it's true. I don't know if sometimes you're trying to act naive or at times trying to live some fantasy. I've had men tell me all sorts of things because SOME ( I am emphasizing SOME) men are just pigs and want to get into a woman's pants. They will try to find a weakness and if sweet talk is the way to do it then that's what they'll do. Maybe this guy is just hard up for sex and his wife, who is probably dead tired taking care of a house and 5 kids, isn't fulfilling his "needs".
IDDY, I didn't think I would post in this but ah well....
Seriously? Did your mother really say that? Please re-read this post and do me a favor. Pretend you are the person you and your mother are talking about and think about how it feels to be that person and ask yourself if your behavior is right.
Imagine some woman and her mother are calling you an ugly pig and laughing at you. How would that make you feel? If you say that you don't care, I don't think I would quite believe you.
Please try and make a change in your life.
My mom is more judgmental than I am. Every time we go somewhere and there is an obese person she points it out. The person I am talking about doesn't know I bad mouth her and she probably bad mouths me to her husband.
More of your hideous, petty judgements about people.
You may think you are beautiful but your threads consistently show you up as an ugly person inside. And THAT is why you can't get a man.
She is unattractive and obese so yes I do make comments about her. I feel bad for my friend but it's his life and he opposes divorce.
