I do worry about that to be honest. I don't really talk anymore to him but every so often he contacts me. I should also mention this is only on FB or via email, not phone or in person. In fact we got into a blowup in 2003 and next thing I knew he was married. I wasn't invited to his wedding and I know deep down he only thought of me as a doll he could take places, not as a potential wife. Not that I wanted him but he thought I did.
That's all he's thought of me as. I know years ago he did want to fool around with me but not date me because I wasn't to him "proper" as in not a fundie.

Anyway, you should imho distance yourself from him and lose contact pulling all the stops necessary unless you would like to have the potential possibility of going down the "dark path" not of your choosing.
I've considered unfriending him on FB but for now I just ignore him there. He hasn't contacted me much lately after I told him off.
