A bunch of posters say that PUA is a bad thing. PUA people say that PUA is a good thing. I want to see this art for myself. You know, examine the artwork as if it were in a museum. Evaluate it with a rubric as if I was a judge in a dog show. Too often pick-up art videos on youtube are fake. I want to see the real thing.
If even they can't come up with incognito clips of this in action (rather than staged ones), then I guess you have your answer as to whether they work for average guys in realtime.

The reason it's "bad" is because many of its tactics are mean to create a dynamic where the woman is insecure & seeking your approval & you can never be vulnerable with her or the dynamic will be lost (and she'll leave then, just as she would have rejected you initially if not for your little game). This is manipulative, to say the least.
When you're playing a game, then it's all about the game, not forming real connections over who you truly are. The women who will respond to such games are often not quality partners. They may be fun & beautiful, but likely have emotional baggage or are lacking depth & interpersonal & intrapersonal skills needed for a good relationship.
If you want shallow hook-ups, fine, but at least be honest. If you want a genuine romantic relationship, then it likely won't lead to one.
Wait patiently and watch social interactions. Coffee shops, bars, etc... night after night. You'll look like a creep, but eventually, you'll see it. Keep in mind, PUA strike out too.
Referring to it as "art" is laying it on a bit thick. These dudes are many things, but artists they are not.
